While in this scene the women doesn't’t begin in control of the conversation but once she gets defensive the power roles switch completely. On the other hand they are talking about the women who hires a male and compliments him on the level of

skill he holds within his job, now this isn't a normal characteristic for a female since its not very often you find a women in a power situation mostly because women do not get it as easy as males.

Match on action used with the woman the shots used make it look as if she is looking up to him with each others head which then leads me to believe the powerful participants are not clear. Through out the clip the power roles are very mixed between gender particularly in different situations.

The facial expressions in the scène make you wonder the severity of the conversation they had, from this particular expression of disappointment or confusion then show he's having his power taken off of him by a women and feels embarrassed. This can be supported by the colours of the whole scène and the wide camera angle. and the , camera angle, colors', the feel of the whole shot is dull

Although age and relationship shows power, the younger girl is taking the power from her mother, possibly showing connections with the fact women should stick together in stereotypically male orientated world. The fact the young girl is the main focus in the shot her mother is in the corner which could show she still holds a lot of control in scene since she is her mother the power between them both is different but clearly it has been broken between them. The over the shoulder shot could be representing a young girl loosing her connection with her mother.

The shot shows more about the female gender, despite them both being in the shot the women in focus is not the only focal point the power is being split. This could say a lot about the fact that they mentioned them keeping strong in a male world, so using this shot really empowers women in the work place. But interestingly we find out at the end that they are actually mother and daughter so clearly they will connect and support each other on a different level.

The conference room is filled with mixed sexes and the majority of speech is made by the males in the room therefore taking the power from the women who is also attempting to input the conversation and hereby trying to take some of the power from the males. As you can see the males are making contact with the women who is in the left hand corner in the over the shoulder shot, this alone shows she has some relevance but not as much as the 2 males in the shot

In this scene a women is interviewing/interrogating the other women while a male is taking the minutes which is not a typical gender role for a male. But on the other hand all eyes are on the women in black suggesting that all the attention is direct on to her which is normal for a women. However as I've said previously the women on women verbal attacks are going against typical gender characteristics that women should stick together.
