trouble.

Promise Point System• The student will follow classroom
expectations to be eligible for rewards, which can include: Eating lunch in the lunchroom with
your peers. Taking part in special activities. Plus opportunities to use I-pods
during online study and concession stand before classes begin.

I-Pod Info Bring your own device and headphones. NO internet music sites. Ever. Period. If you are playing your music so loudly that the rest of the class is disrupted, you may lose your I-Pod privilege.If the previous day’s score sheet does not show a 3 or 4 score, you must turn the device in with your cell phone.

Each day you will begin with 200 points.Each class you will have an opportunity to earn 100 points each class by fulfilling ALL classroom expectations.
Completing assigned tasks! (40 pts) Door closes = Class begins. Seated at your work area
the entire class. (10 pts) Using appropriate, accountable talk! (20 pts) No electronic devices or non-educational websites!

Classroom Expectations at Work
Each day you will have an opportunity of receiving up to 800 total points.For each class, you will be evaluated on the expectations. For each expectation achieved, you
will receive positive points. For each expectation not achieved,
you will be deducted points. There is NO “even;” you earn or lose.

Rewards for Meeting Expectations
For each day you earn 4 or 3 stars, you will be permitted: To eat lunch the next day with your peers in
the cafeteria during your assigned lunch time!
Have iPods in class as long as it doesn’t interfere with the class! Abuse it and lose it!
Permitted to be escorted to the concession stand to grab a snack that will be devoured before entering class or during the lunch period.
Behavior time with games!

For each day you earn 2 stars you will only earn: Lunch with peers Activities

For each day you only 1 star, you will only earn: Lunch with peers No Activities
This consequence – a score of 1 - applies when you miss school as
well!

For each day you have a score of 0 – zero – points No Activities Lunch detention with bagged lunch!

Star System If you are able to maintain a 2 star average from Friday to Thursday…you will be permitted to participate in special activities, usually on that Friday.If you have a five day average of 1.99 star or less you will participate in a 1 hr behavior management class during that special activity time.

You must have a 2-star average or better.
The Promise Program involves a minimum 9-week participation before
we discuss leaving.
