The Disruptive Digital Intervention [DDI] is a long-term sustainable initiative to provide a motivating and encouraging environment for Government High school students from socio-economically marginalized sections of the society in both, the Urban and Rural areas of Telangana by setting up Digital Labs. These labs will serve as a secondary source of learning for students, apart from the teachers, while taking them a step closer towards Digital Literacy. The Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association, HYSEA HYSEA, The IT & ITES Industry Association of AP, ITsAP, is a registered apex body with more than 300 members, representing the software industry in Hyderabad under the AP Public Societies Registration Act. UNDER CSR, HYSEA IS CHAMPIONING THE CAUSE OF IT IN THE STATE OF TELENGANA HYSEA in partnership with Government of Telangana and Nirmaan as the nodal NGO partner, proposes to establish Digital Labs at Government High Schools which have supportive school managements and good students strength. The objective of the program is to provide Computer Education to the students of Government High Schools so that the children will be able to use the computers as the secondary source of learning while teachers being the primary source. The Nodal NGO partner, Nirmaan Organization is a Nodal NGO partner for the DDI mission. Nirmaan Organization is a registered NGO founded by students of BITS Pilani in 2005 and works in the areas of Education, Livelihoods and Social Leadership across 6 States of India partnering with 35+ Corporate and Philanthropic partners. HYSEA believes in helping the lesser privileged students from Govt. The DISRUPTIVE DIGITAL INTERVENTION ( DDI ) is a signature initiative of HYSEA, the main focus being bridging the digital divide in schools of Rural and Urban Telangana.

It has been observed that students from the Govt. High Schools miss on Technology and Computer based skills in turn missing on Employment opportunities in the future.

Thus, HYSEA in partnership with Government of Telangana and Nirmaan Organization proposes to establish Digital Labs at Government High Schools which have supportive school managements and good student strength.

THE OBJECTIVE of the program is to provide Computer Education to the students of Government High Schools so that the children are not just capable of using computers but also technology updated.
