From the beginning of the car scene shots are short and long, they are not happening very quickly.Everything looks to happen very naturally. You are not expecting anything dangerous to happen as the family is travelling together in the car.

When Sarah asks her husband if everything is okay, looks like the scene becomes even slower, suggests us that something is going to happen soon.

When Sarah’s husband looks at her, feels like he takes such a long time and then the car comes in front of them and the accident happens. Since that moment everything is happening immediately.

In this shot strips are flying speedily, and getting through the car’s window quickly, meaning that the end and effects of this accident will come up shortly.

In these two shots, we can see the sticks coming through the window and getting into the car. In the first picture we can see that CGI is used, as the end of the stick becomes invisible, meaning it is not real. But because the shots are coming through very quickly you cannot see it is not actually real.

In this shot it is shown that the girl died first as we can see the ‘blood’ on the seat. The blood is not real, meaning the uses of Photoshop.

Here we can see the stick coming through the man’s head and the seat, as it kills the person the blood is coming out as well. Again the Photoshop is used in terms to create the blood.The man’s face and the actual view from the front is not shown as it lets our imagination to create the ‘disgusting’ image of the accident.

As people are dead the scene slows down again and slowly moves on to another scene.
