Our social studies students were

given an important historical fig-

ure from the 15th-17th centu-

ries. Students had to research a

specific important discovery/

event/idea regarding that figure

and create a comprehensive tri-

fold and a Power Point presenta-

tion. These tri-folds were placed

on display in the media center for

a "gallery walk". Each class was

taken to the media center where

they filled in a biography packet

on all of the key figures by walk-

ing around and getting said infor-

mation from all of the tri-folds on

display. Overall, the lesson was a

hit and we hope to do it again!
