Bespoke Handmade Cushions

Our recommended team of cushion and curtain makers (Yamadeco) will create a bespoke soft furnishings scheme to suit your chalet perfectly. Cushions can be handmade from fabrics of your own choice or from one of their many fabulous recommended fabric ranges.

Bespoke Curtain & Blind-Making Service

Handmade curtains or blinds might just be the finishing touch you are looking for to complete your chalet or apartment. Chalet Shop recommends Yamadeco, a soft furnishings company based in the Alps.

There will be an initial consultation at the property or over the phone to discuss design and measurements. If you are buying your property off-plan, that’s no problem as the initial designs can be created from plans until construction is complete. Yamadeco will share their portfolio of previous projects and will send you samples of your selected shortlist of fabrics.

Once you are happy with your selection, the made-to-measure products have a lead time of 6-8 weeks. Curtain rails, tracks and blind systems can be supplied and installed if required. Alternatively, please ensure that your rails are fully installed prior to the delivery of the curtains or blinds.

You can choose your fabric from a wide range of suppliers including Romo, Designers Guild, Clarke & Clarke and many more. Yamadeco recommends fabrics by Biella, an Italian wool manufacturer who design fabrics in the Mont Blanc region specifically for chalets. Alternatively, there is always the option to source your own fabric and have it sent to the workshop for the Yamadeco team to work their magic.
