Those of you around last month will have seen the return of the Habbox Newsletter.

I loved doing it, so it’s back again! Except I’ve gone... well maybe a bit overboard. So, welcome to the new newsletter: now known as The ’Box - Habbox’s monthly magazine!

I’ll be producing it for the forseeable future, I’ve really loved making this one for you all. Hopefully we can build on it and expand every single month. Let me know what you think in Habbox Feedback by all means - I’m sure some (not naming anyone!) will have some... choice opinions :p

If you want to get involved in next month’s edition, do let me know at any time. Whatever you’d like to write, maybe a gossip column, maybe an in-depth analysis of Habbo History (whatever floats your boat!) - message me and we will sort something out!

That can only mean one thing! The Easter Eggstrava-ganza came back with a bang!

This year’s had hundreds of participants, with 150 people winning points in total.

But there can only be one winner. It was a really close call when it came to the top few people - one of the closest competitions we’ve had in a long time,

and it’s great to see you so competitive!

Hello and welcome to the first edition of Mystic Mike in the Box.

Yes, my predictions have been so accurate I’ve been upgraded to a prime slot in the newsletter... as I predicted

would happen.

The Inner Eye and being able to read the signs that mere mortals such as yourself could never even hope to

understand can be such a terrible burden at times but it does have its advantages.

Alas, let us now look at the stars and predict what the future has in store for

you this May...

Aries (March 21-April 20)Mercury and Jupiter collide this month, sending a financial

windfall your way. Visits to Habbox events are likely to make you a winner. On the other hand, you’re going to be put under huge pressure around the forum, try to avoid confrontation until the odds are more in your favour. Love blossoms and relationships are happy and content but do not fall into a trap of complacency. Keep showing your lover how important they are in your life. Single? Get used to it.

Taurus (April 21-May 21)Pluto and Saturn are aligned in the stars, which means you are likely to gain promotion if you are a Habbox

staff. Unfortunately, people will be against your promotion and you’ll face an uphill struggle to convince people you’re the right person for the job but hang on in there, it’ll work out. Not staff? This “promotion” is more likely to be a major achievement at getting your argument across, with a windfall of +rep and prestige as a reward.

Gemini (May 22-June 21)You should avoid the spam forum this month, an innocent thread you make will backfire on you and you’ll

become the most hated member of the forum. If you wish to avoid this, stick to the Congratulations and Thank You forum, no chance of being hated when you’re just saying “congrats”, “happy birthday”, “thanks for your time” to everyone.

Cancer (June 22-July 22)A Skype conversation will become public knowledge when it’s leaked. You should be careful who you trust. On

the plus side, they will soon forget and you will go back to being someone no-one knows. Staff? Keep working hard as managers have noticed your hard work even if no-one else has a clue who you are.

Leo (July 23-August 23)A friend you trust will betray you but it is in dark times like these that you find out who your real friends

are. You should enter a few Habbox competitions to keep you occupied. Single? Your soulmate likes to stick to 1 word answers. You’re chatty so it doesn’t bother you.

Sagittarius (November 22-December 20)You’ll be surprised this week when you get exam results back that are not what you were expecting. Unfortu-

nately, no-one else is surprised by this news. You don’t understand how this has happened even though you’ve spent all day playing Habbo and posting in the “What have you just watched” thread.

Capricorn (December 21-January 20)You should avoid the Arcade this month, especially those games where the current title holder has more than

10 characters in their forum name. Failure to do so will result in leprosy. Please do not take the risk. You have been warned.

Aquarius (January 21-February 19)Your addiction to Habbo mazes and being really helpful to other people in the mazes will result in a new stalker

following you around everywhere you go. If you wish to avoid this, be a troll and completely selfish with other users. They’ll hate you for it but at least you won’t gain any stalkers you will struggle to get rid of.

Pisces (February 20-March 20)Your recent forays into room design and become the next Rakker will fail miserably. Do not even try. You will

just waste lots of credits and despite that you’re personally proud of the room, everyone else will just think you’ve been on drugs. Put your credits to better use by donating them to Habbox.

Virgo (August 24-Septem-ber 22)

You’re going to be going through a tough period this month but keep hold of the people you trust most in your life to get through it stronger. Do not accept the apologies from ac-quaintances this month, they are likely to slip into their old habits soon enough. Your presence in the feedback forum will provide a balanced and helpful in-tervention amongst the more negative cynicism so don’t be shy to say what you feel!

Libra (September 23-October 23)The Saturday Night Quiz is usually where you fail to get any

of the questions right because you type slower than your grandma but a sudden surge of confidence this month means you will emerge victorious. Unfortunately, this is because you’re the only person who’s bothered to take part but enjoy the victory while it lasts. It’s unlikely you will win it again.

Scorpio (October 24-November 21)You’ll find yourself surprised this month when a person who

has the total opposite outlook on life to you defends your honor and reputation when it is threatened. This will result in a blossoming romance that’ll expand into adopting several Habbo babies and getting married in a Habbo Elvis-themed chapel. Already in a relationship? Get rid of them before the itch starts... and not because it’s been seven years.

I suppose it really depends on your definition of

“soon” really! With the recent appointment of Drew and Markster to Site Coder, we could be looking at a con-firmed release date - but then... well, Recursion happened. The less said on that front the better, but whatever happens - I’ll

be leaking as much as I can (joke, please don’t put

me on the DNHL...)

Speaking of drama though, this month has had quite a lot! Dragga got fired (oops), insults were thrown around like they’re going out of fashion and feed-back’s been rife with suggestions... and hatred for our moderators!

What’s Habbox without it’s staff? They can make *or break* the fansite!

We’ve had a turbulent month, with lots of changes - especially manager wise. We had to say goodbye to Mr-Trainor, rnix, Mk, and Empired. It can be a hard time of year, especially with exams, and they’ll all be missed!

But that does mean we get some fresh meat! -:Undertaker:- (followed by davecool656 as assistant) took over Rare Values, Headlines to Content, :odey: to Events and zebaddi as Helpdesk. We also welcomed Yuxin as assis-tant HabboxLive manager and Drewar as News Team Leader.

But what about normal staff? we take an indepth look. Thanks to Kardan for the idea, hope you are able to get involved next issue - and thanks to Calum who helped to collect all the data!

Bolt’s back?

Right now, Habbox has got the ol’ usual on! Comps in the comps forum, radio on the radio (funnily enough) and events on client... it’s business as usual! All the staff are hard at work to bring you the Habbox you know and love. Hardly anyone is posted away at the moment so we should be on top form, now’s the time to enjoy it!

This month, Habbox will be hosting another Fansite event: the 26th

is Memorial Day in the US and we’ll be bringing you an interactive event. We’ve also got Eurovision fun planned for you this weekend, across multiple departments! Also, keep your eyes peeled for more Forum happy hours, where you can earn double tokens!
