Bi-xenon headlamps The bi-xenon headlamps are powerful and efficient. When the steering wheel is turned, they swivel accordingly to improve visibility around the bend. LED daytime running lights are also standard.

Powerful TSI enginesAvailable with 105 PS – the TSI engine of the Beetle delivers smooth, effortless performance in all driving conditions, combined with class-leading fuel economy.

Panoramic sunroofSoak in some sunshine, enjoy the breeze or view the moon and stars at night. The choice is yours with the large sunroof. The thermally insulated glass blocks 99 percent of UV radiation.

Sporty rear spoilerThe rear spoiler has its top surface in black and its underside painted in the body colour. It provides extra aerodynamic downforce, keeping the car resolutely stable no matter how fast you go.

Touchscreen driver interfaceEverything at your fingertips: the infotainment system with a high-resolution 5-inch display features quick processing and an extremely user-friendly interface.

2-zone climate controlThe driver and front passenger can choose their preferred cabin temperatures individually. The ‘Air Care Climatronic’ system in the Beetle also features an anti-allergen filter with activated carbon inserts.

Laser weldingUnlike most other cars which are built using conventional spot welds, the Beetle features laser welding technology for its roof. The result – greater strength and a perfectly smooth finish.

Sporty instrument clusterIntegrated into the centre dashboard are an oil temperature gauge, a clock with stopwatch function, and a boost pressure gauge to provide all key information at a glance.

Safety.

AirbagsAn advanced airbag system ensures that all occupants are well protected in an impact. The Beetle has dual front airbags, as well as combined head and side airbags, for maximum safety.

ESPThe ESP system keeps the Beetle stable even in extreme driving conditions. It adjusts the engine’s output and brakes individual wheels when it detects skidding, so the driver stays in control.
