COBE/DIRBE NIR intensity map of the Galaxy – reveals stellar mass density
Spectrum Roentgen Gamma (SRG) is an X-ray astrophysical observatory, developed by Russia in collaboration with Germany. The SRG observatory consists of two independent telescopes – eROSITA (Germany) and ART–XC (Russia).

Current status eRosita and ART-XC undergo final assembly with the spacecraft on Lavochkin Association. The launch is planned in 2018.
CdTe image of the ART-XC PSF at 8 keV line. The image is taken during calibration tests at IKI using 60 m X-ray testing facility. The shape of the PSF was measured with a high-resolution CCD camera at MSFC.
