Don’t sell to the people that are not interested…
This step is as simple as it gets. You may have heard from every now and then about the
importance of identifying your target market. It takes speaking and prospecting to the right people
who are qualified to be sold your product or service. For example, if you are selling cold meats then
it would be easier to sell to people who like to do barbecues and steaks than to people who are
vegetarian.

When talking to your clients, customers or leads, the first thing to do is break and get their attention.

Nowadays the world is more ADD. You are competing with millions of advertisers all scrambling for
your customers’ attention, even yours.
There is an ocean of voices trying to get into your mind. It is important to be different and stand out
above the noise.
What is a good way to tell a story? It is be explained next…
For example…
One person may come up in front of a group of people and be like, “Hi…My name isPhill and I will
talk about…” Immediately right off the bat you are bored out of your mind.
Another person may walk on stage slowly, quietly pick up the microphone and speak slowly by
saying…”What do you do when your dream dies…?”
The first person obviously has not learned to develop his magnetic language abilities while the
second person may immediately cause people to stop what they’re doing and offer their attention.
2. Create rapport
Creating rapport is about creating responsiveness with another human being. It is about creating a
connection with your customers and prospects and creating empathy via marketing.

Marketing – the ability to solicit a response from someone else.
Rapport – the magical mystical state when you feel a deep connection with another human being or
an idea.
The bottom line is that you have the ability to connect with someone at a deeper level that will make
anyone understand you and get to know you as if they knew you forever.
But resistance, caused by previous experiences with other people, maybe an ex-partner or a not so
pleasant relationship, might be preventing you from achieving the rapport that you can build naturally
and that is found within you.

Study the people who are in love. Love is resonance and when two people are in love they act in
similar ways.
They could be husband and wife or even best friends. You can tell they have a deeper sense of

3. Sell only after creating rapport
Only after you create an emotional connection then you should start selling. How? Tell a story or a
joke before you start presenting any details.
Make people laugh and like you and they will be more likely to listen to you without getting
distracted.
By telling your story you create a deep connection. People want to know that if you were able to do it
then they can do it too. People want to connect with people.
4. How to present ideas, products and services
Learn how to write and speak copy. One of the founders of our training program did not even
graduate high school. But like, Steve Jobs, he dedicated his time to learn and become an expert in
copy writing and communicating via the written word.
