Potential struggles:Scheduling
“What time of day should we go?”“Who should be in our group?”Idea: Principal for the period
Implementation of observed components“My content area is different?”“They don’t have MY kids.”Idea: Reflective professional goal
setting
The Art and Science of TeachingReflection/Goal Setting
“Follow effective action with quiet reflection. From the quiet reflection will come even more
effective action.” - Peter Drucker
Staff members were given their own copy of the district’s evaluation form and encouraged
to reflect and rate themselves by Oct 1.
Staff members will be encouraged to use their copy of the evaluation form as a journal; principal and teacher will review after each observation.
