Thanksgivukkah Mad-Libs!
A Mad Lib is a story with some important words left blank. People choose words to fill in
the blanks. Usually people choose words that make a silly story. This Mad Lib tells the
story of Thanksgiving, but once all of the blanks are filled in the story may not be
correct. This is okay. Mad Libs are silly because people know they’re not correct.
Directions:
Choose one person to be the scribe.
The scribe looks at the blank boxes in the Mad Lib and tells everybody else
what kind of word to choose
People can choose words from the word bank or think of their own words.
The scribe writes down the words in the blank boxes, or cuts the words out
of the word bank and glues them in the blank boxes.
When all of the words are filled in, the scribe reads the story out loud.
