THANKSGIVING DAY The Thanksgiving Day it's a tradition, especially
celebrated in USA and Canada. It consist in giving thanks for all the good things
that happened the past year
HISTORY Thanksgiving Day is a celebration made in
almost all religions. The one celebrated in the United States it's a
mix of aborigen and European traditions. People don't actually know were in the USA had
got place the first Thanksgiving Day.
TRADITION Most families celebrate this day by meeting all
together in a house and having a dinner. They always eat a big roasted turkey filled with
corn. They also eat vegetables like beans and potatos,
and some gravy. There's also a big parade in Manhattan, who
includes ballons and disguises. In the shops, there are also sales, called Black
Friday.
THANKSGIVING DAY IN THE PRESENT
Many people in the USA who aren't even religious do celebrate this day.
You can see lots of photos of famous people celebrating this day with people who aren't his family, as a humble sign.
There are also special events in the Football League (NFL) or the Hockey one (NHL), even in the Basketball League (NBL), to promove the celebration of this day.
Lots of people take funny photos for the social networks or film videos doing challenges, like running disguised as a turkey or giving 100$ to a homeless.
