  • On July 26, we celebrate the Feast day of Saints Joachim and Anne,

the parents of the Blessed Mother and grandparents of Jesus. Thus,

July 26 is the “feast of grandparents” who are called to establish and

help sustain our Catholic faith by passing on the faith and traditions

to their children and grandchildren. Grandparents are the bridge of

faith for future generations. Let us acknowledge and thank our

grandparents for their wisdom, perspective and love.
