1. Submit a written copy of your speech and the one-page application to Mrs. Giesecke by April 7th by 3:30 pm. Your name should be on the first page of the speech and application should be stapled to the front.
2. If your written speech is selected, be prepared to present your speech (cleaned and polished) in front of a panel of judges during Seminar on April 12th – the date will be assigned to you after submissions have been accepted on April 9th.
3. If selected, be prepared to practice your speech the weekend of graduation on Friday, May 14th over the loud speaker at the College Boulevard Activities Complex.
Speeches and applications will be scored in the following areas:
1. Your contribution to OEHS 2. The content and relevancy of your remarks 3. Presentation
Candidates will be notified by April 21st if their speech has been chosen.
