Pre Nursery Newsletter – Volume 8
Dear Families,
This week we had loads of fun doing fun activities on
balloon. We painted balloons at the easel. Everyone
loved making their balloons as colourful as the ones
we saw in the pictures! Some made striped balloons,
others chose one colour, and some had flowers too!
It’s great to see their creativity and imagination soar!
We also observed that while we blow air into the
balloon it starts becoming big, but when too much of
air is blown into it, it ‘pops’ and burst into pieces.
Two new words in our vocabulary this week are ‘ blow’
and ‘pop’. We enjoyed singing action songs like “a red
balloon’ ‘Am a little balloon’. We also counted balloons
during numeracy but were more interested in blowing
them and bursting to listen to the ‘pop’ sound.
We engaged ourselves in art activities during the
week by decorating our balloons. Sponge painting and
dabbing.
I am so proud of your children! They have made a
wonderful transition from home to school. Our
classroom is full of children who come in ready to play
and learn each day! They are truly awesome.
