Although you may see both Exhibitor and Instant Internet, they are not actually supported in all areas. These networks are supported only in the areas designated below. Choose the option which best suits your location and requirements.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Exhibit booths will be inventoried at the show site and any additional service used will be added to the final bill at the Standard price. Additional on-site fees may apply. Smart City is hereby authorized to charge Customer’s credit card for any additional amounts incurred as well as any initial charges not otherwise paid.

2. Connection Rates listed include bringing service from main line to the rear of the booth or to the

floor port inside island booth. All work performed within booth attaching lines to equipment will be charged on a time and materials basis in addition to connection fees. A separate connection fee will be made for each piece of equipment using connected service, whether connected direct or otherwise.

3. Straight time labor is $60.00 per hour. There is a one half hour minimum charge.

4. Double time rates apply before 8:00AM and after 4:30PM Monday thru Friday; all day

Saturday, Sunday and on Holidays.

5. Additional labor must be requested by the customer at the Service Desk. LABOR MUST BE ORDERED AT LEAST 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE IN ORDER TO HAVE STAFF AVAILABLE.

6. Unless otherwise directed, Smart City Electric, Inc. is authorized to cut floor coverings to permit

installation of service.

7. All material and equipment furnished remains the property of Smart City Electric, Inc. It will be the responsibility of the customer to furnish air filters, dryers, and regulators.

8. NATURAL GAS NOTE: Pressure may vary. No guarantee can be made of minimum

pressure. If pressure is critical, customer should arrange to have a pressure regulator valve installed. Prices do not include labor and material.

10. Discount rate applies to orders received 14 days prior to the SHOW MOVE-IN date.

i. Standard rate applies to all others. ii. Installations are due 24 hours before show opening.

11. CANCELLATION - There is a $50.00 minimum cancellation fee. Cancellations must be in writing.

Additional cancellation charges will apply for orders that have already incurred labor, material and/or engineering costs. Some non standard services and Special Requests cannot be cancelled once ordered and will incur full charges listed / quoted. Credit will not be given for service installed and not used.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Does Smart City provide FREE WiFi?

Yes! Smart City provides FREE WiFi in the designated public areas such as the lobbies on the 2nd and 3rd level meeting rooms. There is no requirement to purchase a Smart City service in order to take advantage of the free WiFi.

The FREE WiFi has a speed of 256K up and down.

What services does Smart City at the George R. Brown offer?

We offer electrical, plumbing and internet services. Smart City offers a variety of internet services to fit all event needs. From FREE WiFi in designated public areas to basic WiFi to more robust dedicated services.

Does Smart City have wireless products?

Yes! Smart City offers a variety of wireless connectivity products to fit all needs. Some of the services offered in the expo hall have been listed below.

Exhibitor Internet access is $79.99 for 1 day, 3 days at $227.97 and 5 days at $359.95 for each device/laptop with speed of 1.5 Mbps up and down.

Instant internet access is available in the public spaces for $12.95 per device/laptop with speed of 256K up and 512K down.

Electrical Labor Rates:

Overtime charges occur when services are performed Monday through Friday after 4:00 pm and on weekends.

Incentive Price Deadline Date:

Order early to take advantage of incentive order discounted rate, orders placed 14 days before show move in are subject to standard pricing. Payment Terms:

Payment must be received in full prior to show open. We require a signed service agreement along with a signed quote in order to process an order. All preliminary quotes are estimates. All final invoices will be generated three days after the show closing date. Acceptable payment methods are check, ACH, Wire Transfer, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Orders over $10,000.00 may not be paid by credit card.
