In consideration of your accepting my/our entry to the Smokin’ in The Square BBQ Cook-Off Competition, I , the undersigned, intending to be legally bound, hereby for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages I may have against the Knights of Columbus, Kansas City Barbeque Society, and/or assigns, for any and all injuries suffered by me and /or my team, family members, and/or representatives during, and/or in conjunction with, this event. I hereby grant full permission to Smokin’ In The Square BBQ Cook-Off Competition and/or agents authorized by them, to use any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings and any other records of this event for any legitimate purpose.

General Information

Pro teams: • The first 50 pro teams will be accepted.• All 4 categories must be entered to be eligible for Grand or Reserve Grand Champion.

Pro Prizes Grand Champion $2,500 Reserve Grand Champion $1,500 1st place each category $350 2nd place each category $250 3rd place each category $200 4th place each category $150 5th place each category $100

Backyard teams: • The first 25 backyard teams will be accepted.• Both categories in backyard contest must be entered to be eligible for Over All Champion.• Backyard categories include chicken and ribs.

Backyard Prizes Over All Champion $600 1st place each category $250 2nd place each category $200 3rd place each category $150 Ribbons 4th thru 10th
