The Flex Belt by BMR uses electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) technology. This technology has been used in hospitals and by physical therapists for over 50 years. Here is a summary of how EMS technology works.

how does muscle stimulation technology work?

StimulationA gentle signal is sent

through the pads toyour muscles.

ContractionAs the signal strengthincreases, the musclecontracts exactly as in

normal exercise.

RelaxationThe signal then stops, allowing your musclesto relax before the next

stimulation begins.
