To prevent bikes from stolen, National Police Agency launches "bike theft-proof stickers." Starting from July 1, citizens can apply for the stickers and archive your own bikes at the police stations in order to reduce the possibility of being stolen.

With the former code-branding method, the cushion and paint of the bike would be damaged, so it's not commonly used today. However, this problem has been solved with the activation of this new service since the stickers have both anti-counterfeiting and anti-removal functions.

What to bring: ID card or passport of the bike owner and the purchase certificate (if none, signature is then

required)Through the bike-registration system, once the bike is attached with the sticker, both the file of the bike and the owner will be archived.

Two more invisible stickers will also be attached on the discreet places of the bike. The code on these stickers is unrecognizable with

naked eyes, but could be easily recognized with the instruments. Once the stolen bike is found, the police would be able to inform the owner right away.

Domestically produced bikes normally have a unique number on the frame, thus, owners can also archive the bike with this number.

Chenggong Ship to raise its sail for

the first time to welcome

Grand Canoe from Orchid IslandFor the first time, Orchid Island’s aboriginal Grand Canoe

crosses the strait to visit the west coast of Taiwan, stopping

The newly built Chenggong Ship went out its way to give a royal salute

mobbed Te Yang Navy Destroyer.

The Deputy Mayor Yan Chun-Zuo (顏純左) went onboard to the Chenggong Ship to welcome the Grand

Canoe and to commence the salute, while Mayor Lai did the drinking ceremony at the Mazu Memorial Park

with Jiang Duoli (江多利), the Township Mayor of Orchid Island.

than Lady Gaga at all, who had a performance in Taichung

the previous night.

No. 122, Minsheng Rd. in Central West Dist..

In these fruit shops, there is a native tomato dish: tomatoes with a special kind of

sauce. Maybe you are not dare to eat it, but believe me, it's delicious. Here we are
