The ratings system changed last year so they are now classified as Met Standard, Met Alternate Standard or Improvement Required. This did away with the familiar Exemplary, Recognized, Academically Acceptable or Academically Unacceptable ratings. You may visit http://ritter.tea.state.tx.us/perfreport/account/2014/index .html to learn more about the ratings system and to find ratings for schools across the state.

Weekly HAR Market StatOn a national level, home prices have dipped slightly. Instead of reacting negatively to this on 24-hour cable news channels, analysts are happy to see more sustainable trends settling into the U.S. housing market. With slower, healthier price growth, homeowners will have the opportunity to steadily build equity while buyers won't be priced out of the market. Price normalization is not a negative trend, but rather a sign of stabilization and market athleticism.
