Texas Indian Webquest
A Collaborative project between the 4th grade teachers and the MPE
library
Introduction
The 4th grade Social Studies curriculum focuses around Texas History. Some of the most influential people who lived on Texas land are the Native Americans.
There were several tribes who settled in various parts of Texas. Each tribe is different.
The 4th graders will
research a given tribe, answer important questions about their tribes lifestyle, and then present it to the rest of their peers through a power point presentation. We will learn a lot about the people who have helped shaped Texas to what it has now become.
