OUR HISTORY

Tex & Shirley Moore opened Tex & Shirley's Restaurant at Friendly Center in January of 1972. Seventeen years later they sold the restaurant to long time manager and friend, Bart Ortiz. Tex & Shirley retired to their home state of Texas. In late 2005, after sixteen successful years in business, Bart decided to expand. He opened a second Tex & Shirley’s Restaurant in High Point. Tex & Shirley’s is the premier breakfast establishment serving the Triad. Ourrestaurants have been voted “Best Breakfast in the Triad” numerous times.
