NEW, reliable and easy to use

The TEX 270/280 series of breakers from Atlas Copco are the newest addition to a range that has proven, over the years, to be highly successful.

While developing these new tools, we kept all the best features from the existing range, and added some new such as Atlas Copco’s solid body con-cept and the two-step trigger, SOFSTARTTM.

No compromise - Reduced noise/vibrations and high productivityIn the new vibro-reduced breakers, noise and vibra-tion levels have been reduced even further compa-red to the old TEX series. However, the breakers are still as hard hitting and reliable as previous models. In other words, we have made no compro-mises when it comes to productivity.

Solid body concept - solid performanceThe new one-piece solid housing design contains fewer parts - and that means greater reliability. It also allows fast and exceptionally easy on-site service: a few basic tools are all you need. Existing Atlas Copco products that feature the solid body concept have enjoyed great success, winning wide market acceptance.

The PE versions of the TEX 270/280 breakers are vibro-reduced. The breakers are also available in a noise-reduced standard version (PS series) with fixed handles. All 28x160 mm shank models can also be used with 28x152 mm tools. The 32x160 mm shanks are also suitable for 32x152 mm tools.
