Jollybops The primary children enjoyed a very vibrant display of the wonders of science yesterday. Athletics Carnival Tuesday, 25th June, will be our School Athletics Carnival at the sporting complex at Glendale. This is for our whole school. We have not been there for a few years so we are hoping all goes well. Up to date information will be sent home shortly with all details. Should we be rained out we will have an infants carnival and a primary carnival on separate days here at school. Fingers crossed for good weather. Canteen I am very pleased to advise the new roof on our hall is complete thus we will be able to re open our canteen next week. The usual roster will be reinstated. Premier’s Reading Challenge Please continue to support the children in completing this.
Hunter Animal Rescue The children from both Years 3 and 4 last week hosted a visit from Hunter Animal Rescue. They brought along one of their clients, Scruffy.
Girls’ Soccer The girls played 3 games of the State Knock out last Wednesday winning 1 and drawing in the other 2. Sadly they were defeated on a corners count so they drop out of the competition. Well done girls and many thanks to our supporting parents and Mrs Pike. Please remember to regularly visit our website. Have you downloaded our App ? Steve Purdon PRINCIPAL
