• Stopwatch • 6 cones • Measuring tape • Masking tape/chalk

Mark the start of the finish line (this is also the end line). 10meters ahead of the start line put a cone down (a). 5meters to the left (b), to the right (c) and straight (d) put a cone down for each one. When ready, they run as fast a possible to the middle cone (a), turn to run around the side cone (b) or (c), around the far cone (d) and back through the start/finish line. The candidate completes four of those runs (2 to cone b and 2 to cone c). Record the best time. Balance – Stork Balance Test

• Non-slippery surface • Stopwatch

Place hand on hips. Position the non-supporting foot on the side of the knee on the other foot. The heel is raised from the supporting foot and the test begins. The test stop if the hand comes off the hips, the candidate hops or the heel touches the ground.

Coordination – Alternate Wall Toss

• Tennis ball • Wall • Stopwatch

Stand away from a wall (2-3meters) and throw the ball underhand at the wall. Catch the ball with the other hand and then throw it other hand and catch it with the hand the ball was thrown initially. Record how many times the candidate can do this in 30seconds. (hand-eye coordination)

Power – Vertical Jump Test • Measuring tape • Wall • Chalk

The candidate stands parallel to a wall with outstretched hands (to the sky). He then jumps high as he can without using any support besides his body. The difference in distance between the standing height and the jumping height is the score. Best out of three.

Reaction Time – Meter Stick

• Meter stick Align the meter stick with the person’s fingers and then drop the meter stick unexpectedly. The measurement in centimeters it took the person to catch the meter stick is the reaction time. Speed – 50meter dash

• 50meter track • Stopwatch

Sprint 50meters and record the time
