Testing & Commissioning

Our company’s knowledge of HV Substation and Generation design allow us to develop testing and maintenance programs to suit the client’s requirement for an efficient and reliable operation of their electrical equipment. We have teams who can provide services from LV to HV Substations and generation systems with expertise in protection and control systems.

We can provide services from site acceptance testing until the final commissioning or energization of the complete project. Our site supervisors ensure that each piece of electrical equipment is ready for energization and that it will operate as designed and perform as an integral part of the system. Thus, we verify that the project meets the client’s specification to and conforms to the required standard of operation.

Our company has the Inhouse IEC 61850 laboratory which can perform the complete IEC 61850 signals between all IEDs and RTU as set up in our laboratory. We can provide services from various relay manufacturers such as SEL / GE / Siemens I ALSTOM / ABB / Toshiba Relays. Our site supervisors are very familiar with different testing equipment such as Omicron for relay secondary injection test sets, CPC 100 for testing the Power Transformer, CT and PTs, Vanguard CT testers and oth-ers. Our Testing & Commissioning program is ISO9001-2008 Certified.

Complete Protection Relay Testing and Functional Checks• Line Differential / Distance / Transformer Bias Differential

/ High & Low Impedance Busbar Protection / Capacitor Bank Protection / Breaker Fail Protection / Backup Overcurrent & Ground Fault Relays.

• Tests include secondary injection testing to verify protection fault simulation, logic check, inputs/output checking, auto reclose, BB trip logic, zone operation and/or verification of signals with operation of switchgear equipment.

Control Systems Functional Tests using the Bay Controller, Remote Terminal Units (RTU), Local Control Computer (LCC)• Testing of assigned signal lists or tabulation of

control function and operations of the Bay Control,Synchronizing systems, verification of software interlocking, SCADA remote operations and signal interface.

Tele-protection Systems inter-tripping and/or remote transfer trips testing• Verification of transmit and receive operation of the tele-

protection devices simulated or actual operation from the local and remote end of the substation.

Telecommunication and Tariff Metering testing• Verification and operation of tariff metering devices,

transducers, indication meters and telecom systems used and applied for power systems.

Testing & Commissioning

Low Voltage AC Distribution Systems and associated auxiliary systems• Verification of AC Monitoring circuits, Automatic Transfer

Schemes and/or verification of AC distribution of the whole substation systems.

DC Systems and associated auxiliary units• Verification of Battery charger operations, Battery tests
