With their log-periodic measurement antennasfrom the HyperLOG 40xx series, Aaronia final-ly offers a very cost-effective alternative, whichat the same time meets the highest expecta-tions. In conjunction with the HyperLOG
antennas, every regular spectrum analyserbecomes a fully professional directional RF
measurement device within a few moments. Thus, a perfect "dream team" for EMC measu-rement in the laboratory or for outdoor use is atyour disposal.
The LogPer antennas of the HyperLOG 40xxseries are identical to those of the 70xx series, but have an enhanced frequency range downto 400MHz, particularly for covering the 70cmamateur radio band (430 MHz and up).Consequently, the dimensions of the antennashad to be increased significantly.
The HyperLOG antennas come standard with a speci-lly constructed, high tech radom housing. This housingas been constructed after intense research with the
most modern computer technology in such a way that itshape, material and special coating have virtually no
nfluence on measurements, not even in case of dew orther kinds of humidity collecting on the surface.
Another important factor for Aaronia was the develop-ment of a radom with the lowest possible damping fac-or achievable. This turned out to be quite an adventureor our development team, particularly in the high GHzanges. Fortunately, this adventure has been masteredesulting in a beautiful, elegant design, to the completeatisfaction of the development team. Our first test mea-urements even by far surpassed our guidelines!
The resulting antenna had the best possible protectiongainst mechanical stress and environmental influence
without sacrificing any of its performance.
Included with delivery: A sturdy aluminumdesign carrycase with custom padding for theantenna, cables and accessories. Furthermore, every antenna of the HyperLOG 40xx seriesincludes a detachable multi-functional pistol grip
with "miniature-tripod" mode and an appropriateSMA toolset.
