MULTIBEAM LED headlamps.

For your perfect vision: Adaptive MULTIBEAM LED headlamps with individually controllable LEDs react to the traffic situation. Partial main beam omits other road users without dazzling them. ULTRA RANGE main beam increases the range to the permitted maximum. The Active LIght System and cornering lights also optimally light up the field of vision.

The Chrome package shows that you attach importance to sportiness and elegance. This enhancement of specific design features is inspired by the AMG line, and adds additional highlights to the standard interior: Numerous surrounds are in stylish silver chrome. AIRCAP

On long journeys in particular and on cooler days, you and your passengers will learn to appreciate the automatic draught stop system. But it also provides a significant advantages in the warmer seasons of the year. This is because it generates an increased airflow arc, thus minimising draughts. As a result, the temperature in the interior remains more stable and you can enjoy enhanced climate comfort – warming or cooling air from the air conditioning system remains in the interior for a noticeably longer period. In addition, AIRCAP has a positive influence on the noise level on board – thanks to reduced air turbulence it is also quieter at higher speeds.

Smartphone Integration Package

The Smartphone Integration joins the mobile phone with the media system via Apple® CarPlay® and Android Auto®. This gives you convenient access to the most important applications of your smartphone.

AUDIO 20 with NTG 5.5 and HD Media Display.

Audio 20 GPS provides you with varied entertainment and a comprehensive range of infotainment functions. Connect your smartphone conveniently with your car via Bluetooth and use the perfectly integrated telephony and music functions on a display incorporated elegantly into the interior design and featuring a 10.25-inch screen diagonal.

The high-resolution media display in a 16:9 format with 10.25-inch screen diagonal adds a particularly high-quality touch to the interior of your vehicle. Thanks to the higher resolution of 1920 x 720 pixels you can enjoy brilliant image quality with pin-sharp display of all infotainment content.

DYNAMIC SELECT.

DYNAMIC SELECT changes the handling characteristics at the press of a button. Use different drive programs which change the characteristics of the engine, transmission, suspension and steering, for example. Whether dynamic in Sport mode, highly relaxed in Comfort mode or particularly economical in ECO mode – you determine precisely what is important to you. DYNAMIC SELECT rocker switch in the centre console allows selection of four different drive programs: ECO, Comfort, Sport and Sport+, and additionally you can combine the settings in Individual mode to suit your personal preferences. Adjustment of the characteristics of the engine, transmission, steering, ECO start/stop function, air conditioning and/or, depending on the equipment/model, also the suspension.

Ambient lighting in 64 colors.

Showcase the interior according to your personal preferences or current mood. With a total of 64 colours, the ambient lighting gives you almost unlimited scope for lighting schemes, and has the right colour available for any situation.

Interior Light Package.

More light, more atmosphere, better orientation: the Interior Light package provides more comprehensive direct and indirect illumination. The additional light sources create a pleasant atmosphere and make operation easier. Components of the Interior Light package are:

• Indirect illumination of the footwells in the front and of the handle recesses in the doors• LED light sources in the front: e.g. Light in the centre console stowage compartment and reading lamps• High-quality overhead control panel with LED lighting• Exit lamps in the doors

With the AIRCAP draught stop system and the semi-automatic boot separator, the package bundles together intelligent equipment items that complement each other perfectly and totally pamper you.

Acoustic soft top.

Thanks to a fully automatic fabric acoustic soft top you will feel just as safe and secure in your Cabriolet as you would under a hardtop. The special acoustic fleece very effectively blocks out road noise and outside sounds, so minimising the ambient noise in the interior. It all adds up to a peaceful journey – even at high speeds.

Burmester® surround sound system.

Surround sound and superb tone in all seats: the Burmester® surround sound system offers music lovers an experience that is absolutely unbeatable in this segment. The overall sound pattern can be individually set to suit your own personal preference and the type of music being played – allowing you to enjoy exceptional quality at almost concert-hall level.



Safety

Pedestrian Protection with Active Bonnet.

The systems of active safety can help to prevent an accident with a pedestrian of reduce its severity by providing support with braking or evasive manoeuvres. If a front impact with a pedestrian should occur, however, various measures can contribute to reducing the consequences of the accident. For example, the front end of the vehicle is therefore designed to be able to absorb more energy. In specific speed ranges, the active bonnet can additionally be raised. The raising is carried out pyrotechnically in the rear hinge area and increases the distance between the bonnet and the major assemblies in the engine compartment, whereby additional deformation space is created and the risk of injury to pedestrians in specific accident scenarios reduced.

PRE-SAFE® system.

With PRE-SAFE® the front seat belts can be electrically pretensioned in hazardous situations. As a result, the forward displacement of the occupants during braking or skidding can be reduced in an impending accident. In certain situations, the side windows or panoramic roof close automatically. In addition, the front passenger seat can be moved into a more favourable position in the event of a crash. In conclusion, the components of the PRE-SAFE® system can significantly reduce the risk of injury.



Safety

Reversing camera

The reversing camera offers you more overview and comfort when manoeuvring. This can pay off as you could avoid damage. The media display shows what is behind you as a live image. When reversing, the system assists you by overlaying dynamic guide lines which display the path of the vehicle based on the steering angle.
