Account Service Director Fall 2010 - Present Lead a team of three Account Executives in this student-run advertising agency at Oklahoma State University. Responsible for reaching out to new business, matching clients with account executives, and leading status meetings.
Other responsibilities include conducting research and developing strategic solutions for new business, and client- agency relations.
Contributed to meeting store sales goals by providing excellent customer service, and working closely with other associates to provide quick service and maintain high visual standards. Attendeda week of special sales training to work in the only flagship Bath & Body Works in Oklahoma.

Work independently with a large client list to sell advertising space in Oklahoma State University’s student-run newspaper, The Daily O’Collegian.
Maintain close contact with all clients on the current account list while cold calling potential accounts. Arrange and conduct meetings in person and by phone to schedule advertising and sign contracts. Create artwork for a variety of clients using Adobe software for both print and online advertising, and coordinate placement of advertising in the daily paper and on the Internet.
Contribute to the team environment by assisting in general office tasks with other account executives and participating in team meetings.
Communicate my sales progress to the advertising manager in the form of weekly contact sheets. Fulfill customer request such as preparing and sending invoices or answering any questions they may have. Meet monthly sales goals. Demonstrate excellent personal organization and time management skills, a self-starter attitude, and exceptional service to the customer.
technical skills Extensive knowledge of the Adobe Suite, particularly in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Working knowledge of web design and Dreamweaver. Also proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.

About Me... Tessa Ogden is a Journalism and Broadcasting major with a focus in Advertising at Oklahoma State University, and will graduate in Spring 2011. She is an advertising representative at The DailyO’Collegian, OSU’s student-run newspaper, where her duties include selling space and designing ads for a varietyof clients. Ogden has a love for designing and has recently discovered an obsession with her scanner.
