WelcomeVictoria University, WelTec and Whitireia welcome you back to Wellington for the 2017 Tertiary ICT Conference! Hosted on Victoria’s historic Kelburn Campus overlooking the Wellington CBD, the conference will be held in the Alan MacDiarmid building, Victoria’s science and technology innovation hub.

This year’s theme is ‘Shaken, Not Stirred’. Along with 60’s spy chic, the theme will investigate the impact digital innovation and change is having on the New Zealand higher education sector. Core sub-themes of the conference include:

• Digital transformation and leadership• Supporting strategies not servers • Achieving relevance in learning, teaching, research and the student lifecycle • Disrupting the roles, capabilities and outcomes of Tertiary ICT staff • Anticipating and embracing rapid change• Governance in the age of consumer choice • Scaling services up, out and across the organisation and sector

IntroductionThe Tertiary ICT Conference is an annual 3 day conference hosted throughout New Zealand and attended by over 180 IT Directors, managers and staff from the tertiary ICT sector. The 2017 Tertiary ICT Conference will be held at Victoria University of Wellington’s Kelburn Campus.

The event provides an annual opportunity to promote your business and services and to network with Tertiary ICT sector key stakeholders. Sponsorship funds are vital and allow conference registration fees to be set at a level encouraging attendance and assist in ensuring a memorable event. Sponsorship packages are aimed at providing sponsors with a benefit return on investment at this annual event.

Sponsors in GeneralWe need to provide a forum of openness that encourages sponsors and suppliers to divulge new product lines / show specials in confidence.

• Sponsors are not able to attend the conference as paying attendees• Suppliers are not able to attend other suppliers’ presentations without prior agreement• Failure to obey these rules will stop attendance

The exhibition area will provide the opportunity for companies and organisations to showcase their updated products and/or services during the conference. Emphasis will be placed on ensuring that conference delegates and attendees frequently visit the exhibition area.

The exhibition floor plan has been designed to ensure good visibility, access to all stands and maximum foot traffic. To help ensure this, catering will be served, at strategic points, throughout the exhibition area.

Pack in for exhibitors:from 1.00pm Tuesday 5th September 2017 (must be set up by 5.00pm as the Welcome Reception will be hosted in the exhibition hall.

Terms and ConditionsAcceptance of sponsorship applications will be subject to approval by the Conference Organising Committee. The Committee reserves the right to decline applications based on any association, direct or indirect, that does not uphold the objectives of the conference.

Acknowledgment in conference material is subject to sponsorship confirmation and materials being received prior to submission deadlines.
