Come on out on Saturday, April 13 and help prepare Camp Pisgah for the 2013 season. There will be
plenty of special projects for individuals, families and troops to dive into on this day. Well get started at
9am, have an outdoor lunch (weather permitted) and wrap up around 5pm. And if you happen to have anyspecial talents you care to share, let us know in advance so we can spread the wealth! Come all day or
come for a couple hours. Any help and any amount of time will be gratefully received. Likewise, you can
stay for the day, or your troop can stay for the weekend in one of our fabulous units. Contact Andria
Johnson at 336-369-7427 to make your troops weekend reservation today.
During the weekend of April 19-21, Girl Scouts across the council will gather in their local communities to
honor the organizations rich tradition of community service. All registered Girl Scouts, adults and youth, are
asked to go out and do a good turn this weekend to help build community and promote the spirit of
volunteerism. This good turn can include donating goods to a food bank, helping out at an animal shelter,
carrying groceries for a neighbor, and the list goes on. Be creative!
In addition to Camp Pisgah Work Day, we will provide an opportunity to participate in service projects at
camp on Sunday, April 20the last day of GSUfrom 9-11am.
