Brandon M. Edmonds graduated from Klein Collins High School. Brandon was a 3 year Varsity Football player, an Offensive Captain on the team, 2 year All District player, 3 year Academic All District, and 1 year Academic All State. He was a member of the National Honor Society. He was also voted Homecoming King, Most Handsome and Mr. Collins by the Student Body. Brandon will be attending Baylor University in the fall on a Merit Scholarship. Congratulations, Brandon!

Brittany Ginn, daughter of Stacy Ginn and Michelle Cannon, graduated from Klein Collins High School on June 8, 2013. She is a long-time resident of Terranova West and swam for the Tidalwaves for many years. While at Klein Collins, she was a member of National Honor Society, Junior Guild, and in the Klein Collins choir for all four years. She lettered in choir as a freshman and was an officer her senior year. Brittany was also involved in regional choir, varsity Chorale, show choir and was cast in the school musical her senior year. She participated in the student teacher program as a junior and taught 4th grade math and science. Brittany will attend Texas Tech University in the fall and will major in Mathematics and minor in Secondary Education. Congratulations, Brittany!

Stephen Jones, son of Kathy and Paul Jones of Slashwood Lane, is a graduate of Concordia Lutheran High School. A TNW resident of 15 years, Stephen was a four-year Letterman on the Concordia Varsity Tennis Team, winning the TAPPS 5A District Doubles title his senior year. He played football all four years at Concordia

and was named First Team All-District Defensive Back, Honorable Mention All-State DB, Academic All-State, and to the TAPPS 5A All-Star Team. Stephen swam with the CLHS Varsity Swim Team, competing at the District and State level. He was a member of the National Honor Society and Vice President of the Key Club. Stephen is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He will attend The University of Oklahoma in the fall and major in engineering. Congratulations, Stephen!

Katlyn Knowlton, a lifetime resident of TNW, graduated on May 18, 2013, with a degree in multidisciplinary studies from Texas Tech University. While at Tech she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. In August, Katlyn will begin teaching second grade in Odessa, Texas. Katlyn is the daughter of Greg and Nancy Knowlton. She is sister to Brian Knowlton and Jenny Olson, and a new aunt to baby Ellison Olson. Congratulations, Katlyn!

Whispering Pines

Robert Verrett, son of Len and Jana Verrett, graduated from Klein Collins High School this June Magna Cum Laude with honors in foreign language as well as being an AP scholar. During high school Robert played viola for the Klein Collins Chamber Orchestra as well as Regional Orchestra this past fall. He was President of Klein Collins Latin Club and Vice President of the Klein Collins Film Society. Robert participated in the National Honor Society and was a mentor at Benfer Elementary. Robert is a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and teaches Tae Kwon Do at the Cypress Creek YMCA. Robert will attend the University of Texas McComb’s School of Business in Austin this fall. Congratulations, Robert!

Seth Scott is the son of Stan and Keisha Scott and brother to Cody, 23 and Tyler 21. Seth graduated from Klein Collins High School on June 8th with Honors! During his time at Klein Collins, Seth was a 3 year starter for the Tiger varsity football team. Seth was also active in Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Seth will be attending the Air Force Academy where he will pursue a degree in Chemical Engineering, and he will be playing football for the Air Force Academy Falcons. Seth attends West Houston Church of Christ. Congratulations, Seth!

Wristbands will be distributed this summer to residents in good standing allowing them to use the pool facilities. Wristbands must be worn by all residents (unless a minor with a parent) to use the pool. NOTE: As of June 13, 2013 residents are now required to go to Chaparral Management Company to get their wristbands and will be charged $5.00 per bracelet or a maximum of $20.00 per family.**CASH ONLY**
