Terrace Hills Golf Course is looking to provide an internship opportunity to an individual who
has selected or is considering a career in the golf industry.
Terrace Hills is a privately owned, 18 hole golf course in Altoona, Iowa. We have been in
operation since 1964.
Employment Dates:
Mid May to Mid August, depending upon school schedule
Job Description:
• Work closely with Superintendent in fundamental agronomic practices of the golf course.
• Work with Superintendent in crew management.
• Work with Superintendent to help manage and maintain golf course.
• Work with Superintendent to manage and maintain irrigation systems.
Work Schedule:
Weekdays and rotating weekends, work days begins at 5:30 AM.
Pay Scale:
$12.50 per hour
