HOW TO ENROLEnrolmentsIf you have an enquiry about a course please phone us on 9850 3687.- Enrolments are taken on a “first come, first served” basis until the class is full.

- Course fees must be paid in full at the time of enrolment. Places will not be held without payment. A copy of our Fees & Charges policy is available on request.

- Payment can be made in person or by phone. We accept cash, cheques, eftpos or credit card (except American Express and Diners)

- Concessions are available for Senior Card holders, Health Care Card holders and Pensioners. Arrangements can be made for you to pay in instalments if necessary. Please speak to the staff.

RefundsPlease check all times, dates and course information carefully before you enrol. Once you have enrolled for a course, refunds will only be given on receipt of an appropriate medical certificate. Courses will be cancelled if there are insufficient enrolments. Everything from that unique item at a bargain price to your dream machine car, a job or a flat, a nanny for your kids or a language teacher to help you learn that new language!

Learn how to sell on eBay and turn your unwanted goods from home into cash. Over the 2 weeks you will set up an eBay account and list an item for sale. Some basic knowledge of using a computer is required for this course. In class you will cover creating/using your email account with eBay. You may want to consider opening a separate bank account to use with eBay although this will be covered in Week 1.

Free Hearing Checks with Australian Hearing

Are you having trouble hearing? Australian Hearing is offering FREE hearing checks at Living & Learning @ Ajani. Hearing checks will be available on Thursday 11th February from 9.30am – 1.30pm and Thursday 5th May from 9.30am – 1.30pm. Hearing checks take approx. 15-20 minutes per person, the results of the check will indicate if further assessment and testing is required and Australian Hearing will provide further guidance to those who require further assessment. Australian Sewing GuildThis group meets once a month to sew, swap ideas and inspiration, help each other with fitting and devote a day to dressmaking. This is a great way to devote time to your sewing while making friends. Bring your sewing machine or overlocker.

Short Fiction Writing for Adults with Elizabeth Rogers

Ever wanted to have a go at making cheeses? In this hands-on workshop you will learn how to make fetta, camembert and mascapone cheese. Participants take home recipes, the 3 cheeses they have made and experience making artisan cheese – easy enough to then make cheese at home! A fun workshop with delicious results. All equipment, materials and recipes will be supplied.

• a container to place their cheeses in (Décor meat keeper size – tutor can sell you one)

• a glass jar to hold 400 mls

• a clean old bath towel to incubate the cheese vats

Outdoor/Indoor Exercise Circuit with Deb & Carole Fitness Instructors

from Manningham YMCA Manningham Council have installed new outdoor exercise equipment on the Ted Ajani Reserve. Our Fitness Instructors will introduce you to the use of the outdoor equipment in the fresh air and indoor work that will include weights exercises, floor work and a stretch and cooldown. An ideal class for those wanting to tone their body and improve bone and muscle strength. The outdoor component will be subject to good weather and on bad weather days classes will take place in the Activity Room at Living & Learning @ Ajani. Bus trip to Woori Yallock for a “Day of Flowers & Fruit” Thursday 3rd March 2016Here it is - our bus trip for 2016! We will arrive at Rayner’s Orchard about 11.00am for a tractor tour around the farm, sampling different types of fruits in season along the way. A light lunch of gourmet pie/quiche and fresh farm salad will be ready at the café on our return. After lunch we board the bus and move on to the Blue Lotus Water Garden about 1.30pm where one of the garden gurus will give a talk about the garden and its’ amazing plants. You will be provided with a map of the garden and en-couraged to explore the thousands of lotus flowers, nursery and garden shop.Bus leaves from Ted Ajani Reserve Car Park at 9.15am sharp and returns to Ted Ajani Reserve Car Park at 5.00pm (approx.)
