Principal’s Report – Term 4 Week 9 Canberra Excursion A bright and very early start was made on Tuesday morning for our annual Stage 3 excursion with the bus setting off before 6.00 am. From all accounts the students were a little sleepy but very excited to find out what was in store for them over the next 4 days. The news from Canberra is that all students and staff are having a great time exploring our nation’s capital city. Today they were off to visit Questacon and Old Parliament House and last night after a long day they were heading to do battle at Laser Tag. Then on Thursday and Friday some of the highlights will include the Australian War Memorial, Parliament House and the Institute of Sport. We look forward to hearing all about their adventures next week. We will make a school stream notification on Friday when we know the anticipated arrival time back here at MPS. Presentation Day We are looking forward to the annual Presentation Day next Wednesday 12th December, starting at 12 noon. All family and community members are invited to attend. Year 6 Graduation Planning is well underway for the Year 6 Graduation. Thank you to Ms Catlow for organising this event. I’m sure the students will have a great night. School Concert – This Is Me Congratulations to all students and staff on their efforts to present an outstanding school concert. Thanks also to Liz & Millie for all their hard work in getting us ready and to Andrew & Matt for ensuring that we truly did shine! Have a great week! Isabelle Campbell Assistant Principal
