Stage 2/3 News
On Thursday in Week 4 we all went to the Coolamon
Library and the Junee Licorice Factory. When we went
to the library we had story time with Bron Hatty, we did
arts and craft, and then we borrowed books. Then we
headed off to Junee Licorice Factory when we got
there we had lunch before making our yummy freckles.
While at the Factory we had to describe what it looks
like, what it smelt, tasted and sounded like.
In Week 5 we had Catapult experiments in Science and
we all received a certificate and a chocolate for
designing and making our own catapults.

COMMUNITY NEWS
Coolamon Library News
The library welcomes the Australian Hearing
Association from Wagga on Tuesday, 29th
November at
10.30am. Come and have your hearing tested and
discover the latest hearing devices. This is a free
service and everyone is most welcome to attend.
The Story time will be held Friday, 25th
November -
theme is “Grandparents” at 10.30am. We welcome
grandparents to join us for this special story time.
Our “Food for Fines” campaign is on again this year at
the Coolamon Library. This is a great opportunity to
clear all outstanding fines by donating non-perishable
food in lieu of money. All collected food will be
donated to St Vincent de Paul in Coolamon. They will
then distribute the food to our local families within our
shire.
The Coolamon Library is on Facebook! News, pictures,
events and opportunities are regularly uploaded – join
us now!
