What is tentsile?
How can you use it?tentsile provides shelter in every kind of environment with minimal footprint or impact.
It is adaptable to suit uses including:
outdoor play winter sports expedition camping festivals military
tentsile can provide a low cost, effective accommodation solution to many humanitarian and natural disaster situations.
As tentsile is suspended above ground level, there is no need to clear areas of dense foliage and can be easily erected over water logged ground, desert sands, and rocky landscapes.

Introduction
tentsile is a suspended tent, taking inspiration fromthe natural world by mimicking a spider's web.Made from 3 weights of rip-stop nylon sheet fabrics,tentsile utilises the material’s integral strengths fordifferent sections of the tent body.

Product rangeTentsile is available in a range of sizes to suit any location orenvironmental conditions. Each unit is bespoke and made to order, tailored to the specific needs of the client. The floor of tentsile can be replaced with trampoline mesh to form anenclosed play space.

tentsile offers the comfort of a hammock with the accommodation capacity of a multi-person tent. No need for roll mats or to endure lumpy groundconditions!Ground conditions for conventional camping can limit site location choices but with tentsile, the sky really is the only limit.

Set-up Configurations
Weight Capacity
Brief Set-up Descriptiontentsile can currently be set up where there are 3anchoring locations at high level. Each arm ends in a hook which is coupled to a tentioning cord and ratchet. Once the three cords have been ratcheted tight, a fourth cord is coupled to a groud anchor and ratcheted downwards, creating a tension space.
Achoring points can be found in both rural and urban contexts. Trees make an ideal post for attachmentbut a simple loop plate fitting can be attached to the side of any building and even vehicles can providethe necessary fixing locations.
TYPE A TENTSILE - 2 PERSON
Materials
tentsile’s skeleton is made from webbing straps with a breaking strength of 2.5 tonnes.
Type A is configured to take the weight of twoadults and their luggage.
