4.0 11 kV SF6 Ring Main Unit (RMU):

12KV,26.2 KA (for 3 sec) short circuit withstand,4

way indoor, double extensible type SF6 ring main

unit comprising of 2 Nos 630A SF6 Isolator one

for incoming & second for close loop & with

double extensible 200 A SF6 circuit breakers for

transformer outgoings. All the circuit breaker shall

be manual operated & shall be provided with

earthingswitches with full making capacity .

Breaker shalll be provided with mechanical

ON/OFF /Earth indication, anti-relfex operated

handle, shunt trip coil (48 V DC ) for external trip

signal,self powerd O/C & E/F relay type similar to

VIP 300 for I/C breaker & VIP 35 of M/S schneider

make or equivalent make for O/G breaker. Cable

testing facality with out disconnecting the cable

terminations, Emergency trip push button, live

cable indicating LED's enerzied through

capacitive voltage dividers with suitable cable

boxes for termination of 3 C X 240 sq. mm, XLPE

cables of 11 KV grade, 3 Nos. class 5 P 10

protection CTs ratio100/5 A for I/C & O/G, right

angle boots equivelent to TP 300 of MECP make

(push button type). 2 Nos. Master trip relay Zelio

of M/s Schneider or equivalent for H.T. breaker

tripping on transformer faults.All accessories of

M.T. relay & additinal control wiring. Relay to be

mounted in seperate box.Control circuit & spring

charging of the panel shall be on 48 V DC supply.

5.0 BUS DUCT :

Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of

readymade 415 V, 50Hz triple pole & neutral

totally enclosed, IP 55 for outdoor mounting, 1.5

mm GI sheet steel clad, duly painted bus duct

with compact sandwichedtype insulated Al bus

bars having following configuration:

a) Bus bar current rating : 2000 A

b) Bus bar configuration : 3 Phase + neutral

Al bus bar. Neutral shall have 100% capacity.

c) Symetrical short circuit rating : 35 KA at

415 V

d) External earthing : 2 nos 25 x 6 mm tinned

copper strip to be measured under item no.5.11.

The bus duct shall be complete with following

components / accessories inclusive of joint

covers as required,wall crossing unit with

fire barrier, supporting arrangement by

hangers, MS angle 40x40x5mm with 2 nos. of

hanger rods of dia.6mm fixed with ceiling /MS

angle supports on wall with anchor fastener

busduct as required & as per instructions of EIC.

mentioned but which are required functionally &

6.0 LT PANEL:

Supply, installation,testing & commissioning of

floor mounting front operated front access

extensible type cubicle panel totally enclosed,

dust and vermin proof with IP-42 protection with

hinged and lockabale doors. Switchboards

fabricated from 2 mm thick CRCA sheets

including interconnections, tinned copper

crimping lugs, bonding to earth and painting

suitable for use at 415 V, 3 phase 4 wire 50 Hz

system, and to withstand a fault level of 35 KA

symmetrical at 415 V complete as per

specifications, as required and as below :

All switchboards shall have provision for entry

of cables from the top/bottom as required.

All live accessible parts shall be shrouded and

all equipment shall be finger touch proof. The

bus bars shall be insulated with heat

shrinkable sleeves. SMC/DMC shrouds and

busbar supports shall be used.

Note :-

1) All G.A. & fabrication drawings shall be got

approved from the E.I.C. Final painting of panel

to be done with powder coating. Necessary

touch up may be done at site, incase if

required. The scope includes all tests as

specified in department's specification,

relevant I.S. and as required by E.I.C, shall

have to be performed at factory & at

installation site and shall be included in the

quoted rate.

2) The equipment shall be designed to ensure

complete safety during operation inspection,

connection of cables etc.

3) Control wires shall be of 1.1 KV 2.5 sq.mm

FRLS copper wires and neatly bunched

separately and adequately supported so as to

prevent sagging and strain on termination.

4) A minimum of 10% spare terminals shall

be provided on each terminal block.

5) All non current carrying metallic parts of

the equipment shall be earthed with copper

flexible wire / strip of adequate size.

6) All concealed hinged doors and covers

shall be provided with suitable flexible earthing

connections.

7) The size of the earth bus chosen shall be

to withstand full fault current of 35KA

8) Earth bus bar shall be supported at suitable

intervals.

9) All the current transformers are resin cast

type class-I only.

10) Scope includes cable end boxes, reverse

entry boxes as per site conditions and

extension of bus bars as required for

terminating the number of cables as per

schematic diagram.

11) G.A. & detailed fabrication drawing and

short circuit forces and temp rise calculation

for panel including the panel fabricator shall be

submitted for dept. approval.

12) Bimetallic washers to be used for all

aluminium to copper joints wherever required & it

shall be of approved make & quality whereever

required.

13) Indication lamp shall be cluster type LED.

14) All Outgoing feeders shall have 'ON'

indication lamp.

15) All neutral shall be isolatable type.

16) The Incomer sections of the Panel shall

be powder coated in orange shade for easy

identification, as per instructions of EIC.

17) The scope includes the Supply and

installation of M.S. Channel (ISMC 100 ) required

for installation of panel on cable trench.
