Self contained open channel designed to study

flow visualization.The channel should be of

rectangular cross section supported by a

rectangular steel frame. Side walls are

transparent to allow full visual observation

and are supportrf by adjustable steel brackets.

Tilting can be adjusted by a manual screw

jack. A stainless steel head tank with a stilling

baffle provides a smooth flow and water is

returned to the storage tank via stainless steel

end tank. Screw holes at the bed used for

pressure tapping to measure pressure loss

along the channel length.
