Date of Birth & Death Vladimir Kosma Zworykin was born in Murom

Russia on July 30,1889 & died on July 29,1982.

Zworykin's Life Zworykin was called the father of television. As

employee of the Westinghouse electric carper at ion he devised the television transmission tube in 1923 and the receive 1924. On 1929 he invented the cathode ray tube Zworykin was the first to demonstrate a television system with all the modern fetchers. Also invented the iconoscope used for a tube television and in the first cameras. The iconoscope was replaced for television cameras.
