Step 7. There are two wireless mic sets, A and B which are marked. Make sure both the transmitter and receiver for each set is on the correct frequency. Use the earbud for each mic set to insure the camera is receiving correct sound.

  • Step 8. Go to the www.easyprompter.com/ website. If this is your first time using EasyPrompter you will need to download the DV EasyPrompter Sans font to make your text mirrored. In the bottom right corner is the option for Flip text. Click the (doesn't work?) link.8

    Step 9. Click the Download DV E a s y P r o m p t e r S a n s l l i n k t o download the font file.

Step 7 (Part 2). Correctly place the lapel mic and clip. It should be clipped to the shirt in the upper-mid chest area. You may want to consider looping the wire under your shirt show it doesnt show or get caught. Clip the transmitter to a pocket or belt out of sight and out of harms way. Make sure it does not get turned off or the frequency changed!

  • The EasyPrompter website.

    Step 12. Type or paste the text y o u w a n t t o s e e o n t h e teleprompter in the white box.

Step 13. You can adjust the font size in the Prompter options box. I recommend starting at 75, but adjust it larger or smaller for your own needs.

Step 14. I recommend setting the Starting Speed (how fast the words scroll when you start the teleprompter) at 5 to begin with.

Step 15. Check the Flip text box. The preview text should show properly on the LCD screen, if not see Step 8.

Step 16. Click one of the Start Prompt buttons to enter into teleprompter mode. It should read properly on the LCD screen on the Teleprompter.

Step 11. Quit and then reopen your web browser to use the new font. Go to the EasyPrompter website by going to: www.easyprompter.com.
