STANDARD FEATURES: Physical Interfaces – Up to 8 E1/T1 G.703 compatible balanced EIA - 530 up to 20Mbps RS422 Synchronous Overhead Channel 10/100Base-T for data and control (optional) VLAN (IEEE 802.1Q, ISL) WAN interfaces:

APOC TDM with multiple containers IBS/IDR TDM

HDLC Frame Relay PPP

TCP/IP stack Routing: static, dynamic (RIP v.1, v.2) Packets filtering

The Telecomms Gateway for Advantech AMT 3X, 6X and 7X series of modems is a powerful interface card adding to the standard EIA-530, multiple E1/T1 G703 interfaces, 10/100BaseT Ethernet (IP Gateway) and optionally 2 x FXS analog telephony line interfaces. The balanced G703 interfaces can be configured as either E1 or T1 and support symmetric or non-symmetric Drop and Insert capability. Up to Eight G703 interfaces can be multiplexed into the same Satellite transmission. Both the multiple Telco E1/T1 traffic and IP data can be multiplexed by the card into the same SCPC link. Legacy RS530 traffic is also be supported. An optional overhead channel and FXS telephony interfaces are available. The IP Gateway interface enables Advantech AMT modems to be connected directly to local area networks without the need for expensive stand-alone routers.

The provision of the standard features and availability of the unique capabilities like NAT in the unidirectional links, IP policy control provide a variety of communication solutions. Provision of multiple networking services like DHCP, RIP, NAT/PAT and AAA makes integration into existing networks with different topologies simple. The Quality of Service (QoS) features ensure that control and priority is available on the IP and Frame Relay (FR) traffic. The FR function has a Local Management Interface complying with ITU-T Q.933/Annex A and ANSI T1.617 /Annex D; Multi-protocol Encapsulation (RFC 1490: IP over FR), Frame Relay Switching and Frame Relay Fragmentation: FRF12 (UNI, End to End). To assist in integration into networks numerous standard built in diagnostic tools are provided.

Static switching IP aliases support Proxy ARP UDP broadcasts forwarding QoS Level 3 Configurable IP policy
