Teija Rom-Colthoff, a young girl from Aurora, Ontario has received huge recognition for her exceptional baton twirling skills. Currently pursuing her post secondary education, Teija loves the sport and spends hours practicing for competitive performances. So far, she has participated in a number of Canadian Championships and has managed to grab the top position in several for her individual Freestyle and in the group competition as well. In addition she has come in the list of top twenty participants in several competitions at the international level.

Teija Rom-Colthoff is an independent girl. Besides being a student, she is also a coach in Spectrum North Baton Club, located in Aurora Ontario. Her job involves training children and teenagers in baton twirling. Due to her dedication towards her work and competence in the sport, she is highly respected by her students. They believe that it is visual treat to see Teija twirling the baton as she beautifully combines her elegant dance moves and gymnastic maneuvers that results in an amazing performance. She knows that the sport requires a great deal of energy, concentration, coordination, and agility. Hence, she strives to keep improving and honing her skills through regular practice.

In the past, Teija Rom-Colthoff has worked as Specialty Supervisor in Camp Green Acres and also as a Sales Associate in Spirit Halloween. While working with these companies, Teija always handled her duties with sincerity and won huge appreciation for her dedication. What has enabled her to develop a diverse professional portfolio at such a young age is her excellent communication skills. She is also praised for her professional demeanor, and her determination to excel at everything she does. In addition to all this, she is very adaptable, well organized, detail oriented, and can persuade others effectively. Teija is a fun loving girl and likes dancing, skiing, skating, and composing videos.
