Thank you for honoring the invitation to participate in the annual international event, the

" National Congress of the Romanian Society of Bone Marrow Transplantation", which

reached its third edition.

Your presence is an excellent opportunity to synthesize and share current knowledge, open

up new horizons in such an innovative field as haematopoietic stem cell transplantation

as well as provide scientific support to the professional development of medical staff.

The indications of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation have expanded considerably,

becoming a standard of treatment not only in hematological diseases but also in

autoimmune or neurological diseases.

We hope that this event will be a memorable one and will be a high-class collegiate

meeting, full of informative and constructive dialogues, in a sunny Bucharest with a vast

university and cultural tradition.

The main tourist attractions:

Palace of Parliament - famous for its impressive

dimensions, the Parliament Palace is one of the most

famous buildings in Romania, also known as the

House of People. The construction captures the

opulence of more than 1,000 rooms.

The Arch of Triumph - designed by Petre Antonescu,

commemorates Romania's victory in World War I. The Arch of Triumph is 27 m high, with

a single opening and is parallelepiped shaped.

The Romanian Peasant Museum - includes the richest collection of traditional objects in

Romania, where tourists can admire ceramic exhibits, fabrics, folk costumes, sculpted

objects, furniture and icons.

The Old Center - is one of the most beloved and trendy areas in Bucharest, a place filled

with buildings built in neoclassical and neo-baroque style.

The National Museum of Natural History Grigore Antipa - the owner of some impressive

scientific collections, the Museum of Natural History Grigore Antipa numbered 2 million

specimens of invertebrates and vertebrates. Permanent exhibitions can boast of objects

ranging from impressive rocks and minerals through shape and color to the scary skeleton

of Deinotherium gigantissimum.

Romanian Atheneum - is a concert hall, made in a combination of neoclassical style with

eclectic style, built between 1886 and 1888, according to the plans of the French architect

Albert Galleron. At present, it houses the "George Enescu" Philharmonic.

The Village Museum - is an outdoor ethnographic museum, a presentation of the

traditional life of the Romanian village. The museum stretches over an area of over

100,000 square meters and contains 272 farms and authentic rural houses across the

country.

The Stavropoleos Church - is an Orthodox church built in Brancovan style in the center of

Bucharest. The name Stavropoleos is the Romanian form of the Greek word Stauropolis,

which translates as "the City of the Cross". This church is included in the list of historical

monuments in Romania.

On the last day of the event, participants will receive a Certificate of Participation. We

remind you that the National Congress of the Medullary Transplant Society has been

accredited with 12 EMC credits (for doctors) by the Romanian College of Physicians and

10 EMC credits (for assistants) by the General Nurses, Midwives and Nurses Order

Romania.
