Hello again from TeenVGN HQ! This is the second issue of our Mini-Mag! Read on to find out what we’ve been up to in the last 3 months… We are now interacting with over 5,500 Twitter followers, getting involved with competi- tions and giveaways on a daily basis! We also have 300+ active Members on the website, getting involved in the Forums, making friends and helping each other out in their cruelty free lifestyles. It’s so encouraging to see how appreciative they are of Teen- VGN, as a community for them to be a part of! Ethical companies, 16 to be precise, have become Sponsors! We are grateful to know that there are people out there who believe in us enough to invest in our community! After all, these young people are our only hope for a truly compassionate future! TeenVGN was named the “UK’s hottest new Vegan group” by Sponsors VegFestUK this June and we are so excited to be attending our second Vegfest in London Olympia on October 5th & 6th with a stall and a workshop! Meet Laura!Hello! I’m Laura, co-founder of TeenVGN!

I decided to create TeenVGN one day whilst sitting athome wondering why there wasn’t a place specifically foryounger Vegetarians and Vegans! I started experimenting with a free website and Voila! TeenVGNwas born! I am so overwhelmed with the unending support that we have had for TeenVGN so far!People actually believe in us and are assured that this is a great community! And I agree! It’s about time there was a place for these amazing young compassionate people!

I went Vegan in October 2011 after baking Vegan cupcakes with a friend, no interestingstory really, just a decision made and never looked back! �

Fuelled by Compassion CampaignIn June we launched our Fuelled by Compassion cam-paign! Our aim is to build confidence in young people tospeak out about what Compassion means and how it isright at the core of a Vegetarian/Vegan lifestyle! RECIPE – Banoffee MilkshakeIngredients: 2 Bananas500ml of Vegan Milk2 tablespoons of Sugar2 handfuls of Ice3 big scoops of Vegan Vanilla Ice Cream3-4 tablespoons of Sweetbird Toffee Syrup

Chop the Bananas & put them in a blender with the Vegan Milk, Sugar, Ice, Ice Cream and Syrup.Put the lid on the blender.Whizz away!Pour into a glass & pop in a straw! Enjoy!
