Since the day of launch on the 4th of March 2013, TeenVGN has been extremely successful in receiving over 4,000 Twitter followers, over 200 young website Members, 11 Official Sponsors and 30,000

website actions.

site which enables it Members to submit recipes, campaigns and petitions, learn about animal adoption and get involved with daily competitions and activities. The website relies entirely on donations from viewers and funding from Sponsors in order to carry out all of the activities and competitions that they run on a daily basis.

TeenVGN has already interviewed multiple Vegan Celebrities including Ms. Dynamite, Bif Naked, Crazy Arm and rock star Jona Weinhofen. stated, "I wish I had a place to meet and talk to other vegans when I was younger it would have been so great

In the future, TeenVGN would hope to be universally recognised and successful enough to become a registered organisation, with at least one full time employee and a TeenVGN building to hold events, talks, workshops and a place for young Vegetarians and Vegans to socialise.

In February 2013, TeenVGN was nothing but an idea in our minds. Both interested in working for the welfare of animals and with youth, we decided that it was time that there was a place for young Vegetarians and Vegans to get together to talk, create friendships, share tips and not be worried about

In order for us to grow as a social network, improve the website, post out those goodies and encourage other young people to adopt a compassionate lifestyle, we need to raise some money! So here are a few ways that you can help us:

- Host a bake sale, event, gig, quiz or car wash! - Do a sponsored walk, run or silence. - Raise money by dressing up in a funny outfit for the day.

RECIPE - Chocolate Balsamic Mousse with Bitter Sweet Cherries

Ingredients: 200g quality dark chocolate 1 package of silken tofu 4 tbsp maple syrup 3 tbsp cocoa powder 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar

Carefully melt the chocolate and set aside whilst you blend the tofu, syrup, cocoa powder and balsamic vinegar in a food processor until smooth. Whisk in the melted chocolate and spoon into glasses. On top place the cherries, top with extra cherries for garnish. Serve chilled.
