•Register for 1 or 2 courses as specified by the School •Usually failures from last active term
•Based on CGPA you will continue either on Probation, or Clear
•Must participate in Guided Academic Program Planning (GAPP)

Myth #1“I thought I could deal with my
problems on my own”Past experience shows that more often than not
you can’t!Don’t be afraid or embarrassed to ask for help,
during the semester.Get advice from the appropriate “experts”
to provide guidance and support in assisting you deal with your situation BEFORE it’s TOO LATE!!
Myth #2BUT Now I’ll be BEHIND in My Studies
No, in fact, contrary to popular belief students no longer finish post-secondary degrees in 4 years. As a part-time degree student, you have 14 years to finish. 8 years if you are a direct entry student. Take your time and not just finish, but finish WELL.

courses on your contract• Not enrolling in mandatory courses written into your
contract• Not achieving a Term GPA of 1.67• Not achieving a Cumulative GPA of 1.0*
FACT #2 Permanently WITHDRAWN:You cannot continue in the ITM programCannot expect reinstatementYou may apply for admission into another
Ryerson program, other than Ted Rogers School of Management programs, AFTER your time out.May be able to get a certificate using
some of the courses completed
