Conclusions

Opportunities for synergy exist… in transferring technology in designing targeted processes for

fostering transfer of technology

…but each process also has its own issues… UNFCCC: mitigation technologies CBD: access and benefit sharing

…and there are limitations to synergy

which require cooperation to minimize tradeoffs
