Technology Through Time Paleolithic AgeThe Paleolithic Agewhich is also known as the Old Stone Age, wasthe earliest period of human development and the longest phase of mankind's history. It began about 2 million years ago and ended between 40,000 and 10,000 years ago. It was succeeded by theMesolithic period. It is most known for the evolution of the human species. The most known remains of the Paleolithic age are stone tools which provide a basis for a system of classification which contains several tool making method.
